Our story
About Sharky Art
Hi, I'm Agnes – the hands (and heart) behind Sharky Art! 🦈
I started Sharky Art in 2026 as a small mobile craft stall, popping up at local fairs and community events across Sheffield and the surrounding areas. What began as a stall has grown into something I'm really proud of: today, Sharky Art designs and hand-produces every single item you see on this site – from our colourful Little Painter Kits to one-of-a-kind resin coasters and cast plaster figurines.
Sharky Art means even more to me than just creativity. My son had to walk a difficult path in his early years to become who he is today, and watching him find joy, focus, and confidence through art showed me just how powerful hands-on creativity can be for every child, in their own way. Even our logo tells a little piece of our story: the shark was his older brother's nickname for him, and the cake is a nod to my own love of baking – together, in our favourite colours, they became the heart of Sharky Art.
Beyond the products, I run hands-on workshops where kids get to paint, mould, and create – whether that's a birthday party, a school holiday session, or a seasonal event like our Adopt a Pumpkin workshops. I believe the best kind of art isn't about a perfect result – it's about the mess, the laughter, and the pride of making something with your own hands.
Your child's safety always comes first. I'm a registered self-employed sole trader, every product follows UK safety standards, and I'm fully insured for all my Sheffield workshops and events – so you can relax and let the little ones create.
